The Deliverables and Character of the Project Team
Final Deliverables
1 deliverable in 2 parts: business plan and concept plan. Including but not limited to the following:
Business Planning
Clarify the overall strategic positioning, future vision, and development objectives for the area; conduct analysis for customer segments and asset allocation for the key aspect of the project (C&E and consumption); produce implementation roadmaps and operations strategy based on development/operation experience. Deliverables including but not limited to:
Overarching strategy and positioning: macro-environment and development trends, benchmarking against Chinese and international cases, regional competitor analysis, overarching positioning and development strategy etc.
C&E and consumption planning: target segment analysis, function segmentation, asset allocation ratio, innovative scenarios and forms etc.
Implementation pathway: roadmap, phasing strategy, operations strategy, innovative policies, high-level investment projections etc.
Concept Planning
Produce an innovative, feasible spatial concept plan that fits the overall strategical positioning of the area, which includes internal and external mobility, urban public space, landscape, and eco-friendly & low-carbon concepts. Deliverables including but not limited to:
Condition analysis: policy/regulation interpretation, site analysis, regional mobility analysis, case studies etc.
Design overview: overarching spatial development positioning, function segmentation strategy, transportation system strategy, development intensity, essential economic and technological metrics etc.
Visual design: overall blueprint, aerial render, key milestone renders etc.
Deliverable formats should include but not limited to: PDF files, drawings (min. 10 pages), multi-media presentation (min. 10 minutes), animation in MP4 format (min. 1 minute).
Project Team
The host encourages applicants to form international, multidisciplinary consortia to participate in the competition. Competitors should have professional skills in business planning & concept planning and experience with projects in both China and overseas.
Competitors should include the following capabilities:

Qualification Requirements
Domestic and overseas organizations are welcomed, but individuals or teams formed by individuals will not be accepted.
The organizations should be legally registered with the local authority and hold a business license or equivalent document valid through the competition period. Multiple legal entities with the same representative / parent company & wholly-owned or holding subsidiary should not sign up at the same time.
Consortia are allowed, and there's no limitation on the number of consortium members.
