Types of Awards
Prize awards: first, second and third prizes, excellence awards and feature awards
There will be 14 teams in the final, and their rankings will be announced right after the roadshows. Excellent teams which fail to reach the final will also be invited to the competition and make a brief presentation. Excellence awards and feature awards will be given at th final.
The bonus and evaluation system is in line with global standards.
Non-prize awards: honor, experience and incubation
Honors: Qualified contestants will win the title of "New Gateway Star", and be given recommended places in the New Gateway Talent Program.
Incubation: Qualified contestants will have opportunities to work with investment institutions such as Beijing New Aerotropolis Fund Management as well as around 100 other venture capital firms and private equity firms. They will receive incubation and project support from the Airport Economic Zone Development Center and the Pilot Free Trade Zone Innovation Center.
Empowerment: All finalists will receive guidance from top global strategy consulting companies, senior executives from investment institutions, and mentors from top universities in China and abroad, and have the opportunity to communicate with masters in their field.
Evaluation
A jury will be organized to score according to the contestants' professional background and ability, as well as their proposals' influence, prospects and professional value.
1. Participants
The background and competence of the leadership and the major team members
For teams, the integrity and synergy of teamwork will be appraised based on their performance.
2. Influence
The technologies, products, policies and models of the project should have a positive impact on the sustainable development of a "Future City", especially in ecological conservation, cultural advancement, consumption promotion and the building of a smart city.
3. Prospects
The proposal provides a basic analysis of the overall investment outlook and profitability model.
The proposal reflects projections on the value of the industrial or social development in the AEZ, including but not limited to the input and output of policy implementation and the AEZ as a driving force of industrial and urban development.
4. Innovation
Technical breakthroughs should be included in the proposal.
Originality and ingenuity should be shown in the proposed models.
5. Professionalism
The four factors have their own emphasis but the same weight.
