LONGi establishes China's first future energy space laboratory

On Sep 15, the LONGi Future Energy Space Laboratory, established by LONGi Green Energy Technology Co.,Ltd., was announced at the Xi'an No. 9 Cosmic Interactive Science Research Base.

The laboratory aims to promote the integrated development of aerospace technology and new energy, as well as the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.

Through the work of the laboratory, the advanced technology of future energy will be verified in space, the development of future energy-related technology will be promoted with space verification, and  aerospace achievements will further benefit people's lives through the research and development and application of solar energy technology.

As the first major project since the establishment of the laboratory, LONGi's new technology products will be applied for space loading, subject to the harsh space environment and tested to explore the reliability of new products.

This will be the first time that LONGi Green Energy has combined products with the aerospace field, and it is also a new exploration of LONGi to improve product performance and verify product reliability.

Martin Green, known as the 'Father of Solar Energy', many experts, scholars and media in the energy and photovoltaic industry sent congratulations on the establishment of the laboratory  via video.

Martin Green said that over the past ten years, LONGi has made great contributions to the substantial reduction of photovoltaic costs, boosting photovoltaics to become the cheapest electric energy in history. The new lab is very exciting and Green wishes LONGi and its partners every success in their new journey.

In addition to scientific research, the laboratory also undertakes the responsibility of popularizing aerospace and photovoltaic science wuth the public.

On the occasion of National Science Popularization Day, LONGi Green Energy will participate in provincial activities, and will hold a public open day for aerospace photovoltaic science at LONGi Green Energy.
