Dahei Mountain tourist attraction will officially open to traffic
Autumn, being cool and pleasant, is a good time to climb mountains. Dahei Mountain, in Dalian Jinpu New Area, Dalian, Liaoning province, is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions in spring and autumn.
The Daheishan scenic spot boasts unique natural and cultural landscape resources. With its main peak sitting at 663.1 meters above sea level, the mountain is the highest in the urban area of the port city in Northeast China.
Standing on top of the mountain, one can see not only the skyline of Dalian Jinpu New Area, the first State-level new area in Northeast China, but also the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea.
In order to better serve tourists, especially those who want to enjoy the beautiful view without taking the difficult hike, the scenic spot introduced shuttle buses, which started trial operation on September 23.
Starting from the parking lot, it takes just 10 minutes to arrive at Dianjiangtai, which is about half-way up the mountain.
