The JD technology digital economy industrial park in Jinpu New Area, Dalian

The Administrative Committee of Jinpu New Area and Jinshitan National Tourist Resort signed a cooperative contract with JD Science and Technology Information Technology Co. LTD on September 23, marking the official settlement of the JD technology digital economy industrial park in Jinpu New Area, Dalian.

The industrial park will be situated in the Jinshitan National Tourist Resort, where the digital economy demonstration center of Jinpu New Area, the JD technological innovation center, the industrial cluster center of the area, and the digital economy incubation center will be built.

Based on the geographic advantages and digital foundation of Jinpu New Area, the park will use JD’s advantages in big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and blockchain to provide product innovation, market expansion and supply chain services for enterprises in Jinpu New Area. It is hoped that this will accelerate the area’s construction of a new smart city and the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy. The park will also promote the intelligent construction of important brands in Jinpu New Area, fueling the area to build into a smart city and a demonstration area of the digital economy.

With the implementation of the project, the two parties will jointly build a digital economy industrial cluster in Jinpu New Area, in order to incubate characteristic and advantageous industries, such as tourism and e-commerce. Based on JD’s big data platform for industrial investment promotion, it will introduce quality resources, including enterprise, technology, capital, market, talents and ecological partners, to energize the development of the digital economy industry in Jinpu New Area.

Jinpu New Area will take the JD technology digital economy industrial park as a breakthrough point, fully utilizing JD Group’s supply chain advantages in retail, logistics, digitization and the IoT. It will further expand the scope of cooperation with JD, taking Dalian as the base to establish cooperation in commerce circulation, modern logistics, the digital economy, cultural tourism, life services and smart city construction.
