Nearly 10,000 runners take part in Tonglu Half Marathon

The 2022 Tonglu Half Marathon, which is the first marathon held in East China's Zhejiang provicne this year, was staged in Tonglu county on Oct 30, attracting nearly 10,000 runners from across China.
Li Zicheng finished first in the men's half marathon with a time of 1 hour, 2 minutes and 44 seconds, while Pan Hong claimed victory in the women's half marathon with a time of 1 hour, 14 minutes and 8 seconds.
The race started from Yingchun South Road and took participants to many attractions along Fuchun River such as Tongjun Mountain and Qiliyangfan.
The race was part of local authorities' efforts to promote the integrated development of the tourism and sports sectors.
According to the organizers, participants will be able to enjoy discounted admissions or free tours of several renowned scenic spots, as well as preferential policies for accommodation during their stay in the county.
