Lingping district enterprises keep producing during festival

Thoughout the Jan 21-27 Spring Festival holiday, many businesses in the Linping district of Hangzhou city – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – remained resolutely in production, giving them a head start into the new year.

On Jan 28, in the production workshop of Hangzhou Fortune Gas Cryogenic Group Co Ltd, staff members were busy with pipe prefabrication welding.

"This year's orders have been booked until September and the output is expected to grow by at least 20 percent in the first quarter," said production manager Ren Zhijun.

Ren said the company was currently rushing to produce a batch of air separation equipment, with oxygen production of 23,000 cubic meters per hour. The production cycle of a set of such equipment needs at least five months.

"During the Spring Festival, more than a quarter of our employees were on duty to rush through production to ensure timely delivery of the orders," he said.

The company develops cryogenic technology – and designs, manufactures and sells cryogenic equipment – providing customers with the overall solutions for cryogenic systems.

In 2022, the total value of its output hit 2 billion yuan ($294.9 million).
