International valve exhibition held in Longwan

The 5th Longwan (China Valve City) Valve Exhibition was held in Longwan district, Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, from May 27 to 29.
A total of 312 companies set up more than 500 booths at the exhibition. Sideline events, including a matchmaking summit and a control valve technical forum, were also held, allowing industry experts to discuss the new progress and challenges that valve companies are witnessing.
The exhibition was also aimed at accelerating transformation and innovation among valve companies, according to an official with the Longwan bureau of economy and information technology.

Longwan has been leading the valve industry for many years. The district manufactures more than 2,000 types of valves that come in over 30,000 sizes. Two executive directors and two vice-presidents of the China Valve Association are held by Longwan companies.
Valve companies above the designated size in Longwan achieved 16.63 billion yuan ($2.34 billion) in sales revenue in 2022, up 32.4 percent year-on-year.
