First China-ASEAN Cross-border E-commerce Live Streamers Competition kicks off
On July 21, the first China-ASEAN Cross-border E-commerce Live Streamers Competition was launched in Nanning city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. A press conference was held to provide detailed information about preparations, schedule, highlights, and more.
The theme of this competition was "Promote competition and join hands for win-win cooperation". It is part of the third season of the ASEAN-China Youth Hosts Camp, which is one of the activities of the fifth ASEAN-China Media Week. The competition was divided into four stages: audition, preliminary, semi-finals, and finals. The competition focused on testing the skills of the livestreamers. The final 10 contestants would compete for the first, second, and third prizes, as well as various individual awards.
After the competition, the media matrix platform would periodically organize cross-border e-commerce live streaming training sessions, providing a platform for cultural and industrial communication and cooperation between China and ASEAN.
This competition aimed to further enrich the exchanges between China and ASEAN in the audio-visual field.
In addition, the competition provided a good opportunity to accelerate the digital transformation of products in Guangxi and further explore new business forms and models of cross-border e-commerce, as well as a platform for outstanding live streamers to showcase their talent and channels for high-quality local products to go global.
