China-Malaysia friendship express on green Silk Road
Port Klang Line project located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Over the past decade, the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) has been committed to driving the development of the green Silk Road. Its participation in the Port Klang Line project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has effectively demonstrated its efforts in green development.
This project is an important public transportation project of the Greater Kuala Lumpur Economic Transformation Program. It is also the first overseas metro project undertaken by the CCCC. The project department has not only achieved remarkable accomplishments in constructing green infrastructure but also demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental protection throughout the construction process.
In terms of the daily management, the project department has stuck to the green and civilized construction policies of both Malaysia and China. By providing green and civilized construction education and training, all staff members have a profound awareness of environmental protection in their daily work.

Furthermore, during construction, the 'six 100% principles' have been strictly implemented on-site. In addition to enclosing and covering the construction site and watering every demolition project to ensure the suppression of dust, advanced mud separation equipment has also played a significant role in environmental protection. By effectively separating the mud residue, not only was the total amount of mud emissions reduced, but the mud could be recycled after circulating treatment. This innovative treatment method simultaneously achieved both environmentally friendliness and cost reduction.
In March of this year, when the Port Klang Line was completed, people saw not only a modern metro line, but also a benchmark for green construction. This metro line has become a new milestone for the green development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). China's equipment, technology, and standards once again demonstrated their outstanding strength on the global stage.
"One flower does not make spring, while one hundred flowers in full blossom bring spring to the garden." This phrase describes the role of the CCCC in the BRI. Its efforts are not just for a project, but for the well-being of the people along the route.
By strengthening the connectivity of green infrastructure, promoting deep cooperation in green transportation and green industries, the company is striving to make a significant contribution to the green Silk Road.
