The 15th CSFE kicks off in Ya'an, Sichuan
The 15th Annual Cross-Strait Film Exhibition (CSFE) opened on May 28 in Ya'an, Sichuan province.

The exhibition will continue to May 31 with activities such as film screenings with post-screening meetings with creators, the Cross-Strait Film Exchange Forum and other events.
During the exhibition, eight of the latest Taiwanese films, including 816, The Young Hoodlum (Xiao Zi), Hill of No Return (Wu Yan De Shan Qiu), Breaking and Re-entering (Huan Qian), Love is a Gun (Ai Shi Yi Ba Qiang), Experimental Actors Studio (Lan Ling 40 –Yan Yuan Shi Yan Jiao Shi), Huai Nan Hai and The Pig, The Snake, And The Pigeon (Zhou Chu Chu San Hai), will be presented. Additionally, Dwelling by the West Lake (Cao Mu Ren Jian ), a Chinese mainland film recommended by Ya'an, will be shown at the event.
Since 2009, the CSFE has been held 14 times in cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. Last year's CSFE, held in Ya'an, had already made a deep impression on film lovers.
"Ya'an is a very beautiful city with abundant cultural and tourism resources. The pandas, Ya'an museums, Mengshan tea, unique black sandstone, and the high enthusiasm of the local residents have left an unforgettable memory with guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait," said Zhang Peimin, chairman of the China Film Foundation.
