Film guests embark on the journey of Ya’an

The 15th Cross-Strait Film Exhibition (CSFE) was held in Ya'an, Sichuan province, from May 27 to 31. In addition to a series of film events, the guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait embarked on a journey to local scenic sites, exploring the unique charms of Ya’an city.

In the Ya'an Bifengxia Base of China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda, visitors got a close encounter with the pandas.

"Ya'an is a wonderful place, and the local natural environment is well preserved," said Taiwanese actor Shi Xiao Yuan.

In Shimian county, the visitors experienced the joy of horseback riding on the grasslands.

"We have filmed movies in Hanyuan county before. In the future, we will shoot films in Ya'an again, and the potential location we are considering is Shimian county," said one of the film guests.
