Literati and poets both ancient and modern have long found themselves impressed by the distinct charm of Jinyun county in Lishui, Zhejiang province.
Chen Zilong (1608-1647), a scholar and writer from the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), is acclaimed for his poetry. When passing through Jinyun, he was captivated by the scenery and described the beautiful sights he saw in his works.
