The 2025 Nature Conference – Gene and Cell Therapies: The Path to Clinic was held in Longwan district, Wenzhou, from April 10 to 12.
Organized by Wenzhou Medical University, Eye Valley, and Nature Conference, this premier global event brought together top scientists, scholars, and editors from world-renowned journals, such as Nature Biotechnology and Nature Medicine.
Nearly 100 international experts from institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, and South Korea joined distinguished Chinese academicians to explore the latest advances in gene and cell therapies.
The conference explored breakthroughs in gene and cell therapies, focusing on their applications in treating cancer, ophthalmology, metabolic disorders, and more. Discussions also highlighted innovative technologies such as organoids, antibody drugs, and AI-driven advancements in life sciences and medical research.
Pre-conference sessions highlighted the integration of AI and big data in biology and medicine, showcasing interdisciplinary breakthroughs like AI-driven virtual cell modeling and precision treatments for musculoskeletal diseases.
Academic sessions included presentations from researchers at Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, and Tsinghua, who shared insights into CAR-T cancer treatments, non-viral delivery systems, and other innovations.
