State Grid Fuyang Power Supply Company mobilized members of the Anhui Beautiful Communist Party Member Service Team to conduct an "Electricity e-Diagnosis" activity at the Wangzhou Power Irrigation Station in Ninglaozhuang town, Yingquan district, on May 14. This initiative aimed to assess power supply requirements, inspect power lines and equipment, and ensure uninterrupted power supply for flood discharge during the upcoming flood season.

The Wangzhou Irrigation Station plays a crucial role in flood prevention, drainage, irrigation water diversion, and water environment enhancement in seven administrative villages in Ninglaozhuang town. The Party member service team meticulously inspected the sluice gate power cabinet, electromechanical equipment, and gate control system, focusing on preventing transformer substation foundation subsidence and flooding. By conducting a thorough "health check" of the electrical equipment at the irrigation station, they identified defects and hidden dangers, developed rectification plans, and provided attentive services to support flood discharge and power supply needs.

To prepare for the annual flood season, Fuyang Power Supply Company took steps to ensure a reliable power supply for flood control pump stations within its jurisdiction. They organized a special meeting on flood prevention and readiness, categorized pump stations, delegated flood control tasks to relevant departments and personnel, and enforced a strict duty system at central power supply stations. The company also engaged Party member service teams to communicate with irrigation station leaders, assess power supply conditions, and conduct comprehensive inspections of equipment and safety measures. Any identified defects were promptly rectified to enhance operational safety.

Furthermore, the company instructed departments such as operation and maintenance and dispatch control to closely monitor weather conditions, adjust power grid operations accordingly, and develop contingency plans for potential emergencies during the flood season. Collaboration with local government flood control authorities facilitated the establishment of a coordinated flood control mechanism, ensuring that power supply infrastructure remains operational and prepared for flood discharge and emergency responses.

To date, State Grid Fuyang Power Supply Company has addressed over 60 power supply safety hazards and defects in flood control and drainage facilities within its jurisdiction through proactive measures such as notification, reporting, service provision, and supervision. These efforts have significantly improved the flood control and drainage capabilities of pumping stations during adverse weather conditions, laying a robust foundation for safe flood management.
