State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power launches energy efficiency campaign

Commencing on May 12, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power kicked off a targeted campaign named "Enter Hundred Enterprises for Energy Efficiency Upgrade" in Fenghua district, Ningbo, Zhejiang province.

This initiative focuses on more than a hundred key enterprises, delivering energy efficiency upgrade services, conducting safety inspections on distribution equipment, tailoring energy use recommendations, and providing consultations on relevant electricity policies. The primary goal is to assist enterprises in enhancing quality, boosting efficiency, and cutting costs.

On May 12, representatives from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power paid a visit to Ningbo Jialing Pneumatic Machinery Co and the company's equipment department manager. The company specializes in pneumatic components and holds a directorial position in the Pneumatic Branch of the China Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Sealing Industry Association.

"This year, our company's production is thriving,”said the manager. 

"We are planning to increase transformer capacity and install energy storage equipment. Your timely guidance is invaluable." 

During the visit, account manager Wang Penghao and his team inspected the company's distribution room, rooftop photovoltaic panels, and production line electrical systems along with the manager. They proposed optimal solutions, elucidated market-oriented electricity sales policies, and offered recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement in electricity consumption.

At Ningbo Jinri Food Co, the leading domestic tuna processing firm, Executive Vice-President Shi Zuofeng sought to amplify the transformer capacity in the new plant from 1,000 kVA to 2,500 kVA. After a thorough examination of the electrical infrastructure and power line layout, account manager Lv Shengwei devised a satisfactory solution for the enterprise.

Meanwhile, at Ningbo Nailiyu Magnetic Technology Co, Chen Feng, the Communist Party Branch Secretary of the Chunhu Power Supply Office, crafted a tailored electricity billing strategy based on the company's usage patterns. By delving into the enterprise's electricity consumption profiles, equipment operations, and varying electricity price policies, a precise optimization plan was developed. This strategy aligns with the company's production requirements while effectively curbing electricity expenses. Initial estimates suggest an annual saving of approximately 100,000 yuan, delivering tangible economic benefits to the enterprise.

Since the initiation of the "Red May" activities by State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power in Fenghua, encompassing inspections of a hundred lines, engagement with a hundred enterprises, and visits to a hundred households, five dedicated service teams have been mobilized to provide on-site support to over 80 enterprises. Going forward, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power remains committed to extending its services to more enterprises, offering comprehensive and efficient solutions. Regular follow-up visits will be organized to ensure a robust power supply guarantee, actively contributing to local economic and social progress through concrete actions.
