"It took just 100 days from acquiring land to commencing construction. The government's streamlined approval process and dedicated task forces provided full support, surpassing our expectations!" said Chi Yongjiang, director of the 500,000-metric-ton negative carbon new material project at Tianlong Magnesium Industry Co in Fugu county, Yulin.
This statement highlights Yulin's proactive efforts to address the challenges faced by the private sector and invigorate business entities by optimizing its business environment.
The city has implemented a range of precise measures to tackle pain points for enterprises, including an accelerated project approval mechanism, comprehensive assistance and agency services, legal protection, and resource assurance.
Yulin has prepared detailed lists and ledgers for 129 approval items across 60 key projects, providing enterprises with a clear and comprehensive understanding of the processes.
The city also launched the "Enterprise Policy" platform, offering 42 enterprise-related policies for "application-free enjoyment", and introduced 152 offerings on the "Yulin Quick Loan" financing service platform, facilitating 13.22 billion yuan ($1.83 billion) in financing.
These initiatives are enabling private enterprises to more easily establish roots, grow, and pursue their ambitions in the city. In 2024, Yulin was home to 393,000 private business entities, with a year-on-year increase of 29.7 percent in imports and exports.
