To guarantee a safe and reliable electricity supply for the 2025 High School Entrance Examination, on June 13, the State Grid Anhui Electric Power Fuyang Power Supply Company dispatched the Wanmei Communist Party Member Service Team to No. 5 Middle School in Yingshang county, one of the examination sites. The team successfully addressed three critical electrical hazards within just three hours, ensuring a secure power supply for the examination.

On June 12, a specialized inspection team from the company, equipped with advanced tools such as infrared thermal imagers and ultrasonic partial discharge detectors, conducted a thorough inspection of the distribution room, examination room circuits, and emergency power supply systems at No. 5 Middle School. During their inspection of the distribution box in the teaching building, they discovered oxidation and overheating at three cable terminals, with signs of charring on the insulation layer due to prolonged use. These issues posed a risk of power outages, which could disrupt the examination process.

Recognizing the importance of the examination to thousands of families, the company acted swiftly to eliminate these hazards. They immediately implemented an emergency defect elimination plan, coordinating the rapid delivery of necessary spare parts and components, while also deploying technical experts to provide on-site guidance to the school's electricians. By 1:00 p.m. on June 13, the replacement parts, including contact boxes and insulating bushings for the medium-voltage switchgear, arrived on-site. The construction team promptly began replacing the cable terminals. With the active participation and guidance of the power supply personnel, the defect elimination work, typically a half-day task, was completed in just three hours.
