Yulin is enhancing its foreign trade by focusing on stabilizing scale, optimizing structure, and integrating policies across trade, finance, taxation, and industry. The city has developed tailored "policy benefit packages" to support foreign trade enterprises.

Authorities are embracing new foreign trade models such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouses, while accelerating the establishment of a comprehensive service support system.

As part of its foreign trade work plan, Yulin has allocated 140 million yuan ($19.52 million) to invigorate the city's foreign trade development. A comprehensive database has been established, covering 165 foreign trade enterprises with a combined import-export scale of 24.6 billion yuan.

To address the financing challenges faced by some foreign trade enterprises, the city's commerce bureau has collaborated with financial departments to build effective partnerships between government, banks, and enterprises.

Authorities and foreign trade economic entities are also exploring new development paths. Shenmu Lantan Group has established an overseas warehouse in Vietnam, covering 29,000 square meters and housing a lanthanum reserve of 7,000 metric tons. This model significantly shortens product delivery cycles, enhancing competitiveness in the international market.

Yulin has also engaged with major cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an, and Ningbo, carrying out in-depth discussions and investment promotions with key traders. These efforts have attracted over 10 foreign trade enterprises, including the Shaanxi General Chamber of Commerce-Japan, to establish operations in Yulin.

Authorities plan to expedite the application process for airport clearance, improve the logistics system, and strengthen the training of foreign trade professionals. The goal is to operate 350 China-Europe freight trains and achieve an import-export trade volume exceeding 550 million yuan this year," said Yang Yunqing, deputy director of the Yulin commerce bureau.
