Guyuan's charm captivates global visitors

An activity organized by the State Council Information Office brought a diverse group of over 30 international influencers and domestic media representatives to explore the unique charm and agricultural advancements of Guyuan in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region from Aug 9 to 10. Participants hailed from countries such as Russia, Turkey, and Iran.
On the first afternoon, the delegation visited Ningxia Guyuan Jinmizi Wine Industry Co Ltd. At the museum, they delved into the company's history and traditional brewing techniques. During a tasting session, the participants praised the distinctive millet aroma and rich flavor of the local specialty wine.
The tour continued at the vegetable base in Touying town, Yuanzhou district, where the group witnessed the harvest of 6,000 mu (400 hectares) of cantaloupes. They explored the region's innovative agricultural practices and cooperative models. After sampling Sunshine Rose grapes and cantaloupes, Iranian blogger Maya expressed her delight, noting the exceptional sweetness of the cantaloupes.
On the morning of Aug 10, the delegation visited Xumishan Grottoes, where natural beauty meets historical heritage. Confronted with ancient grotto art, Mehmet, a Turkish journalist from China Central Television, said: "Human ingenuity and devotion merge here to create breathtaking marvels beyond words."
Throughout their visit, the delegation experienced Guyuan's blend of tradition and modernity, from thriving agriculture to ancient cultural landmarks. This cross-cultural journey allowed them to appreciate Guyuan's vibrant tapestry and conveyed the essence of China through the sweetness of its fruits, the richness of its wines, and the enduring beauty of its landscapes.
