Chinese workers in Africa
Bougainvillea, from the tropical regions of South America, blooms even in the harshest of environments. In Africa, it has become a beautiful sight for Chinese construction workers.
Bougainvillea thrives in any soil, much like Chinese builders who fear no hardship. They work silently and diligently, completing the most difficult tasks in the shortest possible time.
Bougainvillea is born in wind and sand, survives under the scorching sun, and blooms in the gaps between seasons. Meanwhile, Chinese workers weave through rebar and red soil, using every meter of blueprint to sketch the lifelines of the future. Like the roads Chinese workers built, they connect not just towns, markets, and ports, but also the hearts and emotions of Chinese and African people.
Bougainvillea tells those who come after that no matter how difficult the conditions are, as long as you stay committed, you can grow; as long as you persist, you will succeed.
As roads constructed by Chinese workers extend across the African land and bougainvillea blooms in project areas, we see not only the coexistence of nature and humankind but also a strong spiritual resonance–a Chinese strength that takes root in foreign lands, fears no hardship, and contributes with humility.
