Riyadh Sedra Medium Voltage System Project launches

Constructions have commenced on Phases 3 and 4 of the Sedra Medium Voltage System Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, undertaken by China Harbour Engineering Co.

The project, located in the northeastern part of Riyadh, plans to install approximately 98.67 kilometers of medium voltage cables, making it a key infrastructure initiative under the "Saudi Vision 2030" plan and a key component of the overall master plan for the Sedra New City. It also holds significant importance for the development of a comprehensive community and the modernization of the region.

Activities such as cable trough excavation have progressed, with the project team, guided by standardized management, having completed the review of drawings, technical disclosure, and optimization of construction plans in advance. In the face of challenges such as Saudi Arabia's extreme heat, the project team strategically organized and advanced the construction of various processes.

The project team will continue to strengthen construction organization and safety and quality control, contribute to local living standards and regional development, and promote the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Saudi Arabia.
