The Riyadh Sedra Phase II Project in Saudi Arabia, constructed by China Harbour Engineering Co with help from the CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co, has completed over 15 million safe working hours.

It was awarded the "15 Million Safe Working Hours" certificate by ROSHN Group, which highlights the project's excellent safety management and showcases the contract performance capabilities and brand image of Chinese enterprises.

As a significant project under the "Saudi Vision 2030" strategy, it will plays a crucial role in Riyadh's future urban development and is regarded as a model project for promoting Saudi's modernization and urbanization. Once completed, the project is expected to provide a high-quality community environment for residents, enhancing local living conditions, creating job opportunities, and promoting economic diversification.

Since the project commenced in 2022, the project team has established a risk prevention mechanism and an emergency response process, organizing emergency drills regularly, and implementing supervision, hot work approval, and on-site supervision systems. The project team also conducts comprehensive hazard source analysis and control on the construction site and carries out hidden danger investigation and rectification work.

The project team will continue to implement the company's directives, enhancing risk control levels and emergency response capabilities, while also strengthening China and Saudi Arabia's relationship within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
