Three-section dragon drum dance is a type of dragon lantern dance featuring unique local customs. It features a dragon lantern divided into three sections – head, body, and tail – maneuvered by three people, who dance in coordination with dozens of drummers。

With a history of over 1,000 years in Yunmeng, the art form evolved from ancient blessing and sacrificial dances passed down through generations. Performers roll on the ground and leap onto benches, and skilled practitioners even dance on stone rollers.

Three-section dragon drum dance combines multiple art forms, including craftsmanship, fine arts, music, dance, acrobatics, formations, and folk customs.

The dance, with its whimsical and romantic dragon craftsmanship, lively performance styles, and bold and vigorous movements, presents a magnificent, grand, and vibrant folk scene.
