Sneak peek inside 2025 CITM: Explore Hainan, discover world

On Dec 17, the main structures of the major exhibition halls for the China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2025 stood tall, with workers making the final touches.

The Sunny Hainan exhibition area, located in Hall 3 and covering over 12,000 square meters, is undoubtedly the focal point of the event. Aligning with the brand positioning of "free trade port of China, resort island of the world", the area innovatively breaks away from the conventional model of listing cities and counties by administration. Instead, it creatively integrates all 18 cities and counties of the province into six themed tourist route clusters, achieving an upgrade from "spot presentation" to "linear and planar integration". These six themed routes include: Urban Leisure and Aerospace Study Tour; Dynamic Sports and Medical Wellness Tour; Historical Culture and Theme Park Tour; Archaeology and Mountain Adventure Tour; Rainforest Exploration and Ethnic Culture Tour; Sunshine Coast and Luxury Vocation Tour.

In addition to the Sunny Hainan exhibition area, this year's edition also features international, domestic, inbound tourism consumption, and cultural-tourism integration exhibition zones, forming a grand "world cultural and tourism feast".
