Prior to the 2025 China International Travel Mart, travel agents from dozens of countries and regions, including Singapore, the United Kingdom, Russia, New Zealand, and Morocco, embarked on inspection tours to Shaanxi, Guangxi, Yunnan, Hainan, and other locations, experiencing firsthand China's cultural and tourism attractions, along with its openness and vitality.
During the tours, overseas travel agents appreciated the diverse charm of China's natural landscapes and cultural heritage. At Binglanggu in Hainan, a Senegalese travel agent was captivated by the warm hospitality of the Li and Miao cultures and expressed hope to foster partnerships through this trip, enabling more African tourists to experience Hainan.
After gaining an in-depth understanding of the new formats and opportunities presented by China's tourism market, overseas travel agents noted that China's rich and diverse tourism offerings far exceeded their expectations. They expressed an intent to design tourism products that include emerging destinations and promote a more comprehensive and vibrant image of China to travelers from their home countries.
These inspection tours not only provided overseas tourism professionals with direct exposure to China's tourism resources but also injected new momentum into the expansion and upgrading of China's inbound tourism market. The travel agents expressed eagerness to strengthen cooperation with their Chinese counterparts to jointly develop distinctive tourism products.
