As host, Hainan's pavilion emerged as a central dealmaking hub at the 2025 China International Tourism Mart. Its strategic showcase attracted focused international business interest.
Featuring a 12,000-square-meter exhibition organized into six thematic tourist routes, the pavilion effectively showcased Hainan's evolution from a beach destination to a multifaceted resort and business destination.
Hong Shannan, China sales head of Batik Air Malaysia, confirmed plans to expand air routes linking Malaysia with Haikou and Sanya, anticipating increased tourism and business activities driven by Hainan's free trade port policies.
Chen Xueni, deputy general manager of Haikou Tianshi Tongcheng Network Technology, reported on advanced negotiations with clients from Russia and South Korea to co-develop digital tourism solutions tailored to the Hainan market.
