Staff members from the company's suburban power supply station inspected the 10-kilovolt Zhangyao line on Oct 5. Using infrared thermometers, they checked equipment temperatures and recorded their findings to identify potential hazards.
The inspection covered key components, including utility pole foundations, grounding systems, insulators, overhead wires, and fittings. Workers also checked pole signs, vegetation clearance beneath power lines, and the condition of guy wires and grounding equipment.
Infrared temperature measurements helped identify potential defects in wire connectors and insulators, allowing workers to assess equipment conditions and address risks promptly.
The branch has completed inspections and monitoring of several distribution lines, including the 131 Zhaoshang line, the 120 Zhangyao line, and the 128 Chengguan line. During the campaign, staff members also distributed more than 60 information leaflets to residents.
The inspections were part of efforts to maintain stable grid operations during the holiday, when electricity demand was high.
The branch will continue to strengthen line inspections and refine equipment management to improve distribution network reliability and ensure a safe, reliable electricity supply for residents across the county.
