In Shiliping town, Shangnan county, Shangluo, farmers planted potatoes across farmland in six villages, including Hongyan and Kuanping. The area is a major high-altitude vegetable-growing region and one of Shangluo's first bases supplying vegetables to Hong Kong.
To support mechanized farming and irrigation, a service team from the Shangnan county branch of State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Co inspected transformers, distribution boxes, and power lines, installed safety warning signs, and cleared obstacles along power line corridors.

Across Shaanxi, the company coordinated with agricultural, water, meteorological, and emergency management departments to assess electricity demand and develop targeted service plans. It also inspected irrigation-related power lines and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure a stable supply during peak demand.
In Gaoling district, Xi'an, the local power supply company streamlined procedures for new connections and capacity upgrades, offering one-stop services and dedicated follow-up support. Online applications, facial recognition, and simplified documentation helped farmers obtain electricity more efficiently.
The company also expanded safety education, maintenance support, and emergency response capacity to ensure reliable electricity for agricultural production and irrigation.
