Wang Hongchao oversees site safety in Serbia

Wang Hongchao served as the safety officer for the Nis construction project in Serbia and arrived on site in fall 2024.

He was familiar with local regulations, site-specific emergency response plans, and equipment filing requirements. His rule required safety training for all newly arrived workers before they started work. He delivered safety briefings overnight for a crew that arrived late due to flight delays.

The project covered a wide area with heavy workloads. Wang enforced protective gear rules and corrected violations immediately. He also communicated regularly with workers to ease stress. He conducted daily site inspections, maintained safety logs, and posted daily safety updates and next-day risk alerts in the project group chat at 10 pm every day.

In summer 2025, inspectors commended the complete closed-loop hazard records. Wang received the company's 2025 "safety guardian award". Project manager Si Hongjun noted his rigorous and detailed safety performance.
