Stepping into the greenhouses of the vegetable base in Hanfeng village, Jinjiahe town, Lueyang county, Hanzhong city, on April 3, one is greeted by a warm and lush atmosphere. Green vines climb the supports, and the space is filled with an abundance of growing vegetables and fruits, promising a rich harvest.

Outside, near the irrigation channels, State Grid Lueyang Power Supply's Communist Party Member Service Team was busy conducting an "electrical health check" for vegetable grower Yan Yonghong. They were fixing the greenhouses' safety issues such as damaged wires and loose connections.

To support vegetable farming and the rapid growth of facility-based agriculture in Hanfeng village, the company has prioritized the village in the county's network upgrade projects. They've constructed and upgraded 3.2 kilometers of 10-kilovolt and low-voltage lines, replaced two old transformers, and boosted their capacity to 400 kV. This has resolved issues of low power and long supply distances in the greenhouse cluster. They also set up an independent power distribution station for the vegetable base, optimized the power line layout, and increased supply reliability to 99.8 percent.

The service team conducted thorough inspections of lighting systems, irrigation pumps, temperature control equipment, and residual-current devices in the greenhouses. They helped farmers address safety risks such as aging wires, loose connections, and moisture-damaged equipment, ensuring a stable power supply.

The company uses the service team as a bridge to connect with farmers, helping spring planting and irrigation. They dispatched 13 service teams to visit smart greenhouses and agricultural enterprises to inspect equipment, promote safe electricity use, and share energy-saving tips. More than 500 informational materials were distributed, and they identified and fixed more than 30 safety hazards.

To make facility-based agricultural electricity services more accessible, the company has set up a "green channel" to streamline applications. Initiatives include single-certificate processing and acceptance with incomplete documents. It prioritizes surveys, construction, and power delivery. By leveraging the village-level power service network, the company has established "one-on-one" service mechanisms, creating electricity-use records for each greenhouse to enable quick responses to issues. They also engage in new projects, such as additional greenhouses and cold storage facilities, offering end-to-end services from power inspections to plan designs and meter installation, driving high-quality agricultural development across the county.

Looking ahead, the company will continue to focus on the "Three Rural Issues"; agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. By optimizing grid structures and refining service measures, they plan to conduct regular electricity inspections and outreach efforts to support the production of green and efficient agricultural products. Committed to supporting the "vegetable basket" of the people, they aim to contribute to rural vitalization.
