Recently, officials from the Northwest China Energy Regulatory Bureau of the National Energy Administration teamed up with State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power and the Shaanxi Power Exchange Center for a Communist Party of China event themed "Inheriting Red Genes, Strengthening Compliance Controls".

The initiative was part of a joint Party-building effort. It brought together officials from State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power and Party members from various branches, including the Second Supervision Division Party Branch of the Northwest China Energy Regulatory Bureau, the Party General Branch of the State Grid Shaanxi Dispatch and Control Center, and the Party General Branch of the Shaanxi Power Exchange Center.

With great respect, participants visited Xi Zhongxun's former residence, the Xi Zhongxun Memorial Hall, and the Guanzhong Revolutionary Memorial Hall. There they gained an in-depth understanding of the heroic revolutionary struggles led by the CPC in the Guanzhong region. Reflecting on Xi's significant contributions to the founding, building, and reform of New China, as well as his reputation as "a people's leader from the masses", they drew inspiration from the legacy of revolutionary figures who steadfastly supported the people. This experience offered a profound lesson in Party spirit and a spiritual awakening.

During the event, attendees engaged in discussions linking their work to the themes of inheriting the Red genes and bolstering compliance. They expressed their commitment to following in the footsteps of revolutionary pioneers by upholding and advancing their noble traditions. They pledged to increase their awareness of discipline and rules, turning the lessons of Red education into practical actions in their duties. They emphasized the importance of taking responsibility in their roles to manage operational risks, protect the legitimate rights and interests of market participants, and maintain a fair and just electricity market order.

Looking forward, the Northwest China Energy Regulatory Bureau plans to use this themed Party event as a launchpad to enhance joint Party-building and collaborative learning mechanisms. The bureau aims to better integrate Party-building with market regulatory activities, using high-quality Party-building to drive high-quality regulation. By ensuring the stable and orderly operation of the electricity market in Shaanxi province, it seeks to contribute to the region's economic and social development.
