From 2021 to 2022, the Suyukou ceramic kiln site in Ningxia Hui autonomous region was excavated by archaeologists. Major finds include a ceramic workshop site, two Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227) ceramic kilns, white ceramics, various tools and a mine pit site for digging materials and fuel. A new type of kiln - the Helan Kiln - and a unique ceramic making technique were discovered. The ceramic works also prove the development of an integrated Chinese nation with diverse features.
