The ceremony saw the unveiling of the results of these two international wine competitions. The Helan Mountain's East Foothill International Wine Competition recognized 197 wines, with notable awards including 11 Grand Gold Awards, 10 Food Pairing Gold Awards, 25 Regional Cuisine Gold Awards, 29 Premium Cuisine Gold Awards, 11 Collectible Gold Awards, and 111 Silver Awards. The other competition awarded 67 wines, with three Grand Gold Awards, 26 Gold Awards, and 38 Silver Awards.

The Ningxia Helan Mountain's East Foothill Wine Region stood out with one Grand Gold Award, 17 Gold Awards, and 21 Silver Awards.

This year's competition invited global wine regions and companies to participate. There was a 33.4 percent increase in the number of entries, with a total of 1,062 wines from 16 countries and 34 regions. The competition also introduced a digital scoring system, evaluated wines based on price segments, and established a prize mechanism. It promoted the Marselan variety selection as an independent international event for the first time and included public preferences as a basis for promotion. The selection process combined international standards with Chinese cultural influences, showcasing the culinary culture of Ningxia.

Award ceremony

The CMB is a prestigious international wine competition known as the Oscars of the wine industry. This year's Marselan Selection received 259 entries from 18 wine regions in 11 countries, including China, France, and Portugal. China accounted for 65 percent of the entries with 167 Marselan wines. This competition aims to showcase the unique characteristics of Marselan wines and establish Ningxia as a top producer of world-class Marselan wines.

Award ceremony

Helan Mountain's East Foothill is China's largest wine grape cultivation and wine production region, boasting over 60 wineries which have gained more than 1,300 international awards. With a brand value of 32.02 billion yuan, Helan Mountain's East Foothill Wine has become one of China's top geographical region brands. Ningxia wine is now exported to nearly 40 countries and regions.
