Sixty-seven wines were awarded in this competition, including three top gold awards, 26 gold awards, and 38 silver awards. The wine producing area at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia was awarded one grand gold award, 17 gold awards, and 21 silver awards, making it the biggest winner of the competition.

Marselan is originally from France and was introduced to China in 2001. In recent years, Marselan wines have frequently won awards in international competitions, attracting the attention of international professionals and consumers. At the same time, Marselan is increasingly showing its wide adaptability and excellent winemaking characteristics in various wine regions in China. It has been acclaimed as the "future of Chinese wine".

CMB, as one of the three most authoritative international wine competitions in the world, has a wide influence in the global wine industry and is known as the "Oscars" of the wine industry. This first Marselan Selection by CMB received a total of 259 Marselan wines from 18 regions in 11 countries including China, France, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Uruguay, Bulgaria, Morocco, Lebanon, Serbia, and Montenegro. Among them, there were 167 Marselan wines from China, accounting for 65%.

The judges blind-tasted the wines based on color, aroma, and taste, evaluated the single varietal, blended, different vintages, and prices of Marselan wines separately, and determined the final score for each wine. The ranking and award-winning wines were selected based on the scores of the participating wines.

In total, 67 wines received awards, including three Grand Gold Medals, 26 Gold Medals, and 38 Silver Medals.
