A delegation of Z-Generation youth from Sri Lanka delved into Ningxia's unique cultural allure in Wuzhong on July 8.

The delegation visited the Fuxian Academy, where they donned traditional hanfu attire and immersed themselves in the essence of ancient Chinese culture.

Accompanied by the melodious sounds of the guqin, they savored Kungfu tea, experiencing the meticulous process from tea leaf selection to precise water temperature control and brewing techniques, embodying the Chinese people's steadfast adherence to their traditions.

Exploring the rich history of Eight Treasures Tea, the delegation was amazed by its unique recipe, production process, and the folklore behind it. They even tried their hands at making Eight Treasures Tea on the spot.

At the Yellow River Grand Canyon scenic area, the delegation learned about Ningxia's efforts and significant achievements in the conservation of the Yellow River. They witnessed firsthand the vibrant integration of cultural heritage and environmental protection, experiencing the majestic power of the Yellow River's surging waves.

This journey provided the Sri Lankan youth with a deeper understanding of Ningxia's folk customs and natural environment. This experience will not only enhance the friendship between the youth of China and Sri Lanka but also lay a solid foundation for future cultural exchanges and cooperation, noted a local official.
