The 2024 Jin Wa International Arts Festival commenced in the city of Zhongwei in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on the evening of Aug 3.
This year's festival introduces an innovative model combining culture, tourism, aesthetic education and study tours. It features a diverse array of art forms, including piano, traditional Chinese music, Western music, dance, language arts, vocal performance and visual arts.
From Aug 3 to 13, over 40 events will take place, including the "Sound of the Desert" International Piano Competition, the "Painting the Stars" International Art Competition, and a desert installation art exhibition.

In addition, the festival has launched the "Jin Wa Time Travel" study tour product, which collaborates with six A-level scenic spots in Zhongwei to offer 24 cultural and tourism packages tailored for participating families, including "sand play" and "water play" experiences.

The city is committed to fostering the development of new qualities, new formats, new scenarios and new experiences in the cultural and tourism industries.
