The night tour project, themed “A Full Moon Rises Over Hengcheng”, presents the epic production Yellow River's Moonlit Night as a tribute to the Yellow River. It showcases the profound and rich history, as well as the charm, of Hengcheng in the new era through traditional-style music, songs, acrobatics, dance and fashion shows.
The Yellow River's Moonlit Night consists of four major chapters. Each features performances combined with meticulously designed costumes and props. These elements showcase the popular cultural characteristics of the Yellow River Basin, blending tradition and modernity, nature and humanity, as well as static and dynamic elements, creating a unique and immersive audiovisual feast.
In addition to the main stage performance, the night tour project also includes four other major sections: the Welcoming Show, City Wall Projection and Light Show, Fucheng Street Parade, and the Yellow River Ancient Ferry Carnival. Finally, the bonfire carnival begins with the ancient molten iron flower firework technique, leading into a mysterious and solemn sacrificial ceremony. The fire pot event showcases the mystique and uniqueness of traditional culture, allowing visitors to deeply experience the distinctive charm of Yellow River culture.
The light show and projection show on the city wall use cutting-edge technology to present the magnificent scenery and rich culture of the Yellow River in a new form to visitors. The audience can also participate in the light show through interactive installations, using touch sensors and motion capture to enhance their sense of involvement.
To enhance the visitor experience, the scenic area offers a variety of night tour activities beyond the performances: The Yellow River Hengcheng Ruins Museum, an ancient marketplace, actor parades, NPC interactions, street acrobatics, hands-on intangible cultural heritage activities, food and snacks, bonfire parties and the molten iron flower firework and fire pot performances.
