Around 2,000 running enthusiasts participated in Sunday’s road race in Pingluo county, Ningxia. He Jie, a marathon runner from Pingluo county who was victorious at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, was a star guest on the run. The event drew participants from Beijing, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Anhui, Hunan, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, as well as the cities and counties around Ningxia.
