The "Helan Mountain • The Intoxicating Xixia District" wine and cultural tourism industry investment promotion took place in Beijing on Friday to highlight the unique resources and industry advantages of Xixia district in Yinchuan, Ningxia. 

The event aimed to further develop the Helan Mountain eastern slope wine industry and leverage Xixia’s “wine + cultural tourism” resources, enhancing the brand’s influence to attract investors and support regional economic growth.

The event opened with a wine exposition featuring premium selections from major wineries in the district, showcasing the district's unique heritage and wine-making charm. Guests were invited to sample wines, experiencing the distinct flavors of Helan Mountain’s eastern slope. 

During the event, Gao Tianshu, deputy head of the Xixia district and member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Ningxia District Committee, shared insights into Xixia's wine and cultural tourism development, emphasizing the potential to create a unique industry that combines historical culture with modern tourism.

Representatives from various Xixia wine and cultural tourism enterprises presented their products and growth advantages, sharing cooperation intentions and expressing their hopes to collaborate with industry peers in Beijing for mutual advancement. The event concluded with a signing ceremony in which Xixia district secured partnership agreements with 12 enterprises. The agreements, valued at 1.76 billion yuan ($240 million), encompass winery construction, cultural tourism integration, and wine sales.

Through events like this, Xixia district aims to enhance the visibility of the Ningxia Helan Mountain eastern slope wine + cultural tourism industry. By improving tourism facilities, strengthening brand promotion, and enriching tourism products, Xixia seeks to establish the “Helan Mountain • The Intoxicating  Xixia District” as a key driver of economic development and a prominent cultural tourism attraction in the region.
