In January 2026, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) will convene its 16th Party congress. In anticipation of this significant event, a series of reports highlighting the university's achievements since the 15th Party congress in 2021 will be launched.

The university has achieved significant milestones, such as winning the top honor in the China College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition and producing graduates who are among the most competitive in the nation, with about one-third pursuing careers in national defense.

Physics has been added to its list of "double first-class" disciplines; the engineering program has entered ESI global top 0.01 percent; and Intelligent Science and Technology is among the top three in China.
