A total of 106 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of spare auto parts from Incheon Port in South Korea arrived at Qingdao Port, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Group (SPG), on May 21, and the goods were exported to countries and regions in Central Asia soon afterwards, marking the beginning of SPG's international agent services.

Under the new development paradigm, Shandong Port Land-sea International Logistics Group of SPG joined hands with Qilu China Railway Express, the freight train service between Shandong province and Europe, and set up a new cooperation and exchange platform, providing its customers with a cheaper, faster, and more efficient logistics service model.

Since this year, SPG's logistics company has taken advantage of the increasing volume of international freight trains and leveraged its unique advantages to build a multimodal transport logistics channel connecting South Korea, Qingdao, and Central Asia, providing customers with an innovative transit logistics service model. SPG's logistics company will beef up efforts to further unlock the market potential of international freight trains, and build a modern and complete logistics channel linking Shandong and the world, in a bid to promote the high-quality development of the province's modern logistics industry, and boost connectivity between countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
