The construction of the Yubei Inland Port, which is sponsored by Shandong Port Group (SPG), kicked off on Mar 2 in Jiaozuo, Henan province. It is the first inland port established by SPG in 2023, and also the 33rd inland port in China.

Boasting great geographical advantages, the inland port is located in Baishan town, Boai county, which is at the intersection of Xinxiang-Yueshan Railway, Taiyuan-Jiaozuo Railway, Houma-Yueshan Railway and Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway.

The port plans to build a comprehensive logistics park that is centered on container goods and supplemented with bulk cargo handling, warehousing, packing and transportation to distribute and transport trans-regional goods.

SPG has maintained strong cooperation with Henan province. Up to now, it has set up six inland ports in Nanyang, Zhengzhou and Zhumadian, and opened 12 railway routes, such as the Sanmenxia-Qingdao Port route, which provides a convenient, smooth and efficient logistics channel for import and export enterprises in Henan.

SPG intends to give full play to its advantages and widely carry out multimodal transport, bonded supervision, supply chain finance and other comprehensive logistics services. It is also working hard to improve its logistics efficiency and build Shandong ports into the most economical and convenient ports in the region.
