Taleh Ziyadov, director-general of the Port of Baku, praised SPG's expertise in smart ports, equipment manufacturing and wharf construction, and said SPG is a reliable partner for collaboration. He expressed hope that the two ports can continue to communicate and work together in a deeper capacity.

Li Fengli, director of SPG, expressed his gratitude for the help provided by the Port of Baku in Azerbaijan and recognized the significance of Baku Port's location as a bridge connecting the European Union, Central Asia and China. He reiterated his desire to maintain a close relationship with Baku Port, strengthen business ties and combine the two ports' strengths in wharf construction, which could also contribute to economic and trade relations between China and Azerbaijan.

In April, Li led a delegation to seek cooperation in Azerbaijan. During the visit, Qingdao Port and Baku Port signed a partner port agreement.
