The second UAE China Tyre and Auto Parts Expo, jointly organized by Shandong Port Overseas Development Group and Hualun Interconnect Technology (Dubai) Co, was held on May 29 in Sharjah, UAE.

The exhibition marked the further utilization of the hub platform function of Shandong Port Group (SPG), promoting the expansion of China's tire and automotive parts industry in the Middle East and African markets, and serving the real domestic economy through overseas supply chain extension, vital chain deepening, and helping to build a new development pattern.

The 3-day exhibition boasts a venue of 5,000 square meters and 138 standard booths. Eighty-six companies and 162 people charter flights from Qingdao Airport to participate, inviting merchants from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and South Asia. The number of visitors in the three days is expected to exceed 10,000, and the overall intended transaction volume is expected to exceed $55 million.

A fruitful and well-planned partnership between SPG and Abu Dhabi Port Group has given birth to the "Middle East-Far East" route. This route serves as a direct connection between Qingdao Port and Abu Dhabi Halifa Port. Thanks to the Abu Dhabi Port Group's barge route network, goods can be transported to all ports in the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai and Fujira, as well as to 15 major ports in the Middle East and African region, such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, Sudan, and Oman. This collaboration has opened up new opportunities for businesses and traders to expand their reach and explore new markets.

By creating a complete supply chain business model of "overseas warehouse+ shipping+ supply chain finance+ comprehensive logistics services+ international exhibitions", SPG will continuously upgrade the overseas warehouse function, providing freight forwarding, booking, warehousing management, and distribution services for more customers.
