Senior management of Shandong Port Group (SPG) embarked on a tour of Belarus from Sept 12 to 13 to expand cooperation between both sides.

Li Fengli, general manager of the SPG, said the group will enhance cooperation with Belarusian companies to promote economic development.

The group then signed cooperation agreements with Belarusian State Railways. Li noted that Belarusian State Railways provides solutions for Eurasian railway logistics, and that there is much room for cooperation in the field of import and export of goods. He hopes that the two sides will use this opportunity to deepen cooperation.

During the meeting with the Belarus Potash Company, the Belarusian company's general manager said that potash trade between Belarus and China has been increasing year by year, and that the high-quality and efficient services of SPG have been impressive. He also expressed hope that the two sides will strengthen communication and exchanges to promote mutually beneficial and win-win development.

The SPG team also visited the China-Belarus Industrial Park, where both sides agreed to expand cooperation in train and maritime transportations.
