On Oct 30, the vessel ASPIRE loaded with 3,000 metric tons of bitumen, departed from the Red Star Terminal of Qingdao Port Oil Terminal Company, heading for a port in Indonesia.

This marks the successful launch of Shandong Port Group's first bitumen export business, increasing the company's competitiveness and better serving the petrochemical industry.

Bitumen export is a new business developed by Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical Co. After receiving the order, the port company held a special meeting to discuss and deploy related work. They actively coordinated with various links in the export supply chain and completed preparations, including the processing of berthing procedures, formulation of engineering plans, provision of personnel and materials, and arrangement of ship schedules, within just one day.

Upon the arrival of the vessel, the company immediately organized berthing and operations, with dedicated personnel on-site ensuring that everything went smoothly.

This successfully has established a new route for bitumen exports from Qingdao Refining & Chemical Co, and has promoted the overseas market and export channels for their bitumen products.

Shandong Port Group (SPG) in Qingdao will further optimize the functional layout and resource allocation in the port area, expand its capacity and space for multi-format cooperation, comprehensively enhance service efficiency and quality, actively promote the high-quality development of the oil business in SPG, and contribute to the high-quality regional economic development.
