Berths No 6 and No 7 at Binzhou Port, which are under the management of Shandong Port Group, underwent their final inspection on Dec 8 and are now fully prepared to begin operating.

The berths are both 50,000-metric-ton oil berths and will handle commodities like crude oil, fuel oil, gasoline and diesel oil.

The dock shoreline measures 558 meters in length, and is designed to handle 5.8 million tons of goods per year.

The berths will create an integrated port oil transfer service system, connecting the inland refining and chemical enterprises to the open sea. This will reduce logistics costs and promote the integration of the port area, industrial park, and urban area, supporting the overall development of the port, industry and city.

Moreover, Binzhou Port in Bohai Bay will further optimize its construction to expand the economic effects of the port and contribute to its high-quality development.
