East China's Zhejiang province reported two new asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 on Aug 5. Both cases were found in Hangzhou, the provincial capital.

One of the two patients came from Kashgar in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The other came from Malaysia. All people who'd had close contact with them have been put under quarantine for further observation.

No new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported on Aug 5.

As of the end of Wednesday, Zhejiang had reported a cumulative total of 1,270 confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 51 were imported from abroad.
