Since the first Alibaba rural livestreaming school in China was inaugurated in Kecheng district, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, in April, villagers have been able to sell their fresh products by livestreaming through their mobile phones.

The result has been increased income for the villagers.

The school offered training courses to 50 rural students focusing on regional brand design, preferential policies and resource leveling, in addition to six livestreaming chatrooms for practicing.

After that, more than 1,000 farmers acted as livestreaming hosts and promoted their products by this new technology.

In the past, there was only one channel for selling high-quality agricultural products in Quzhou, but now villagers can show people village scenery, delicious food and sell local products by livestreaming through their mobile phones.

The rural livestreaming schools in the city will carry out training courses in Zhejiang, aiming to train more than 10,000 farmer hosts this year.
